Administer, monitor, and maintain the company's VoIP platform, ensuring high availability and performance. Configure and manage user accounts, call routing, voicemail, and other VoIP services. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to voice quality, call setup, and endpoint connectivity. Implement security measures to protect the VoIP system from unauthorized access and threats. Plan and execute upgrades and system enhancements for the VoIP infrastructure. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for VoIP systems and procedures.
Proven experience as a VoIP Systems Administrator or in a similar role managing UC platforms. In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323), codecs, and networking principles. Experience with specific VoIP platforms such as Cisco CallManager, Asterisk, or similar enterprise solutions. Familiarity with network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches relevant to VoIP deployment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
