Job summary

Motus Corporation in South Africa seeks a proactive Sales and Operations Manager to plan, manage and monitor pre-owned vehicle sales activities, enhancing service delivery and maximising profits. You will implement and refine end-to-end processes, define SOPs and monitor progress against the operational plan to adjust as needed.

Responsibilities include governance compliance, customer education, stock control and CRM management, with a focus on maximising profits, maintaining OEM relationships

Qualifications

• Higher Certificates and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates in Sales and Marketing
• Over 5 years’ experience in the motor sales industry
• 3 years supervisory experience with a proven track record of managing a floor of 20-30 units

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage end-to-end processes.
• Define standard operating procedures (SOP's).
• Monitor and report on progress against operational plan and make adjustments.
• Resolve problems with necessary discretion and guidelines.
• Plan, manage and monitor governance compliance processes to manage risks and liabilities.
• Contribute to development of strategy and set targets within accountability areas.
• Manage operational risk and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Adhere to current legal compliance (FICA, POPI, CPA).
• Maintain content on digital and social media platforms in line with standards.
• Plan and organise sales outputs by assigning priorities and reviewing targets.
• Ensure vehicle stock is managed per policies.
• Educate customers on products and services to improve sales and customer base.
• Establish and sustain OEM/Importer relationships.
• Initiate and structure sales deals for maximum profits.
• Plan and manage financial activities and budgets.
• Manage budget variances and provide solutions.
• Maximise rebates and ensure payments from OEM/Importer.
• Manage resources efficiently.
• Provide customer service excellence across the business.
• Foster a culture of exceptional service delivery.
• Manage CRM processes and procedures
