Placements24 is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for a highly regarded fine-dining venue in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will lead front-of-house operations, train staff, manage inventories, and uphold exceptional service standards to drive guest satisfaction and repeat business.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in restaurant management, strong P&L and budgeting skills, and a proactive, positive leadership style.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of progressive restaurant management experience.
• Proven ability to lead a team effectively.
• Strong understanding of P&L statements and budgeting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory and cost control.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Experience in upscale or fine dining preferred.
• Proficiency with restaurant management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Manage, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and prompt resolution.
• Implement and maintain service standards and operational procedures.
• Manage inventory, including beverage and food stock, and conduct regular audits.
• Control costs, including labor, food, and operational expenses, to meet budget targets.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and menu execution.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
