Job summary

Sandvik Mining is seeking a maintenance supervisor to manage maintenance activities and assist the Performance Contract Manager to improve cost effectiveness and operational profit. The role focuses on client relations, safety, and environmental effectiveness within an underground mining environment.

The candidate should have at least 5 years maintenance experience, 3 years supervisory exposure, and inventory control knowledge, with trackless mining experience considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience (5 years) required.
• Supervisory experience (3 years) required.
• Experience in inventory control required.
• Trackless mining experience advantageous.
• Physical and Medical ability to function in underground environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address risks with client and Contract Manager
• Identify outstanding work
• Enforce Maintenance Schedule and Preventative maintenance
• Performance agreements and appraisals for subordinates
• Comply with company SHEQ management system and the Objectives and Targets set.
