Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking a Trainee Manager for Heidedal to support Store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure compliance with internal controls and OHSA standards.

The role requires Grade 12 and 2+ years retail management experience, with strong leadership, accounting, and administrative skills. You will work under pressure, ensuring efficient stock management and customer service. Local travel and own transport are expected.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with at least 2 years retail management experience.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Valid ID or work permit.
• Must have strong accounting skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be computer literate (Basic computer literacy).
• Must have strong leadership skills.
• Must have strong administrative skills.
• Must have own transport and cell phone.
• Must have sound knowledge of Health and Safety aspects in line with local OHSA and/or neighbouring Countries legislation.
• Must have strong Human Resources skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Management: assist in developing and managing a Store Business Plan aligned with company strategy.
• Customer Service: implement and monitor the Customer Service strategy and audits.
• Asset Control: Stock: manage shrinkage and stock movement, PIC process and wall-to-wall stock takes.
• End Control, IBTs, Customer Returns, Receiving: assist with security, safety, and incident reporting.
• Asset Control: Cash: assist with debtors, petty cash and daily banking.
