Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity for a Trainee Manager covering the George area (Cape Town region). You will learn overall store operations under direction and supervision of a store manager, performing a wide range of retail duties with guidance from experienced staff.

Essential requirements include Grade 12, 1–2 years in store retail management, MS Office literacy, a valid driver’s license, and own transport. Diploma in Financial/Admin is advantageous.

Qualificações

• Grade 12/Matric is required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in store retail management disciplines.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
• Diploma in Financial/Admin or relevant 3-year diploma is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Inventory management including goods in transit, cycle counts, stock takes and shrinkage control.
• Ensure stock flow to the sales floor and assist in stock ordering.
• Assist with planning and maintenance of promotional stock displays and labeling standards.
• Support POS operations, daily cash-ups and store expense monitoring.
• Assist with customer service, address complaints and loyalty signups.
• HR process support including leave management and Kronos data handling.
• Participate in trainee programme activities and ensure competency milestones.
• Collaborate with managers to achieve sales targets and share knowledge regionally.
