Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in managing telecommunications networks and systems, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience with VoIP, MPLS, cellular networks (4G/5G), and fiber optics.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security, and data center operations.
• Experience in budget management, vendor negotiation, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the telecommunications network (voice, data, video).
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers and support staff.
• Develop and implement strategic network upgrade plans and technology adoption.
• Oversee budgeting, procurement, and implementation of telecom hardware/software.
• Ensure security, reliability and performance of infrastructure through monitoring and maintenance.
• Establish and enforce SLAs and operating policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for equipment/services.
• Investigate and resolve complex network incidents and outages promptly.
• Stay informed about emerging telecom technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with other IT teams for seamless integration with business systems.
