Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Telecommunications Project Manager to lead major telecom projects in Durban. You will plan, execute, and deliver complex initiatives, managing scope, timelines, budgets and resources to align with strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience in network infrastructure or telecom deployments and proficiency in project management tools. A hybrid work setup and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly advantageous.
• Proven track record as a Project Manager in telecommunications.
• Experience with network infrastructure, IT systems or telecom services deployment.
• Strong command of project management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Oversee execution, track progress and milestones.
• Lead project teams, vendors, and contractors collaboratively.
• Communicate status, risks and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality.
