Placements24 in Randburg is seeking a dynamic Telecom Sales Engineer to join our established team. You will bridge telecom solutions with client needs, designing tailored systems and articulating value to prospects.

You will leverage deep technical know‑how and sales acumen to support the full sales cycle, deliver product demos, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and ensure successful post‑sale adoption. This is a client‑facing, revenue‑driven role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical pre-sales or sales engineering role within the telecommunications industry.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IP, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Understand customer business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using our client's product portfolio.
Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the sales cycle.
Respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and RFIs (Requests for Information) with accurate and comprehensive technical details.
Provide post-sales technical support and ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions.
Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in telecommunications.
