Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Telecoms Sales Specialist to identify and secure new business, working from our Randburg office. You will manage client relationships, tailor telecom solutions, and drive revenue through proactive engagement.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and market insight. Expect uncapped commission and a collaborative, growth-oriented sales environment in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in telecommunications or related technology sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications products, services and market dynamics.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at various levels.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to opportunities.
• A degree in Business/Marketing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients within target markets to generate new sales leads.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through effective communication and service.
• Understand client needs and requirements, offering appropriate telecommunications products and services.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales agreements, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
• Collaborate with technical and support teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
