Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Telecom Field Engineer or similar field-based telecom role.
• Strong knowledge of GSM, LTE, and 5G, plus microwave and fiber optics.
• Valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and willingness to travel in the Paarl area.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test telecommunications equipment, including cellular base stations and transmission systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative repairs on network infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network connectivity, signal strength, and equipment performance.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports on network conditions and installation progress.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards during field operations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other field teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
