Responsibilities

• Find and approach new customers (cold-calling, networking, referrals, trade shows).
• Understand customer needs and match them to the right products/equipment.
• Quote prices, negotiate terms, and prepare/submit contracts and tender documentation.
• Manage the full sales cycle — from lead to delivery to after-sales support.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date customer records.
• Grow market share by targeting and winning competitor accounts.
• Meet monthly/annual targets for sales, gross profit, and invoicing.
• Ensure deals are financially sound and within company policy.
• Provide technical product support and explain delivery, warranty, and service terms.
• Stay current on market trends and industry developments.
• Report on sales activity and performance as required.
• Build strong, lasting client relationships through consistent, quality service.

Purpose of the Role
Drive new business growth by managing and expanding a client base, converting competitor accounts, and hitting sales and revenue targets — while delivering excellent customer service in line with company strategy.
