Placements24 is seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial operations for a fast-growing technology startup in Benoni. You will shape financial strategy, oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, capital raising, and investor relations.

Ideal candidate has 10-15 years in finance with at least 5 in senior leadership, CA(SA) or CPA, and startup fund-raising experience. You will build a high-performing finance team and partner with the executive team to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master's in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or related field.
• CA(SA) or CPA mandatory.
• 10–15 years in finance, with 5+ years in senior leadership (CFO/VP Finance).
• Experience in technology/startups, fundraising, and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term financial strategy for growth and profitability.
• Oversee accounting, payroll, reporting, and compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Manage investor relations and capital-raising activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Develop KPIs and provide regular board reports.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
