Placements24 is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function from its Vereeniging base. The role sits on the executive team and works closely with the CEO and Board to drive profitability, strategic planning and capital management in a hybrid environment.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in finance leadership, a strong grasp of IFRS/GAAP, and a proven track record in corporate finance and risk management within manufacturing.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA or CA/CPA is essential.
• 15+ years of progressive finance/ accounting experience, in a senior leadership role.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and financial markets.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with hybrid work models and managing distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all financial operations including FP&A, treasury, tax, and accounting.
• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies.
• Manage capital structure and funding for operations and growth.
• Prepare timely financial reports for management and Board.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide insights to support strategic decisions.
• Lead and mentor finance and accounting teams.
• Evaluate financial systems and technologies to improve efficiency.
