Placements24 seeks a seasoned CFO to lead financial strategy in Soweto, Gauteng. You will oversee budgeting, FP&A, treasury, and reporting while shaping capital strategy and risk management for growth. You will interact with the CEO and Board to steer mergers, acquisitions, and investments.

The role requires 12+ years in financial leadership, including 5+ years at senior executive level, IFRS/GAAP mastery, and strong stakeholder skills. MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with professional certification mandatory.
• MBA or related advanced degree desirable.
• Minimum 12 years of financial leadership, including 5+ years as CFO or VP Finance.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term financial strategy and annual plans.
• Oversee FP&A, treasury, tax, and financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes.
• Maintain internal controls and safeguard assets.
• Engage banks, investors, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide strategic guidance to CEO and Board on acquisitions.
