This critical leadership position will oversee all financial operations of the company, including financial strategy, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, capital raising, and investor relations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's long-term financial strategy to support growth and profitability objectives.
• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing critical insights and recommendations.
• Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and potential funding partners, including leading capital raising rounds.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
• Develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports to the board of directors and executive team.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic financial transactions.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• A professional qualification such as CA(SA) or CPA is mandatory.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role (e.g., CFO, VP of Finance).
• Proven experience within the technology or software industry, specifically with startups or high-growth companies.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising (venture capital, private equity), financial modeling, and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, investment banking, and investor relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
