Placements24, a rapidly expanding financial services group, is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team in Benoni, Gauteng. You will oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, treasury, accounting, and regulatory compliance, shaping the company’s financial strategy and growth trajectory.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CA(SA)/CPA preferred.
• At least 15 years in financial management with 7+ years in a senior executive role (CFO/VP Finance).
• Experience in financial services, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and regulatory compliance.
• Proven strategic thinking, analytics, and leadership.
• Experience with capital raising, M&A, and investor relations.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term financial strategy.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, financial reporting, and tax.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and statutory requirements.
• Manage relationships with investors, lenders, auditors, regulators.
• Provide strategic advice to CEO and Board.
• Assess financial risks and implement controls.
• Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Optimize capital structure and cash flow.
• Drive initiatives to improve profitability and shareholder value.
