Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant focused on technology to drive growth in our Johannesburg office. You will manage full lifecycle recruiting for IT professionals, from sourcing to offers, while building strong client partnerships and a robust candidate network.

The role requires deep tech industry knowledge, at least 4 years in recruitment, and a proven track record in achieving placements within a fast-paced hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of recruitment consultancy experience in technology.
• Proven ability to manage full lifecycle recruitment and meet placement targets.
• Knowledge of IT domains including software, data, cybersecurity, cloud and IT infra.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for technology roles, including sourcing, screening and interviewing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients in Johannesburg technology sector.
• Identify and engage IT professionals to build a robust talent pipeline.
• Negotiate salary packages and terms between clients and candidates.
• Conduct market research on industry trends, salary benchmarks and competition.
• Aim to exceed personal and team targets for placements and revenue.
• Contribute to business development by winning new clients and expanding existing relationships.
• Mentor junior recruitment consultants and share best practices in technology recruitment.
