Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Business Development Apprentice for a fast-growing tech startup based in Mahikeng, North West. You will gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing and growth strategies, working with senior team members to identify markets, engage potential clients and shape proposals.

You’ll conduct market research, lead generation, CRM tracking and collaborative client meetings while developing essential skills for a career in business development within a dynamic startup

Qualifications

• Qualification or strong interest in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential new business opportunities and markets.
• Support generation and qualification of sales leads.
• Conduct market analysis and competitor research.
• Help prepare sales presentations and proposals.
• Participate in client meetings to understand needs.
• Learn and utilize CRM software for tracking leads and interactions.
• Assist in developing marketing materials and strategies.
• Contribute to building and maintaining strong client relationships.
