Placements24 is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Paarl team. You will lead sourcing efforts, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews with clients across diverse industries, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

You will leverage ATS tools, manage the recruiting process end-to-end, and contribute to employer branding while building strong relationships within the talent market from our Paarl office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in consultancy.

About the Role

Our client, a distinguished recruitment consultancy operating from Paarl, Western Cape, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist . This role is integral to sourcing and attracting high-calibre candidates for our diverse client base across various industries. You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process from job profiling through to offer management, ensuring a positive experience for all candidates. The position is based in our Paarl office, fostering a collaborative team environment where you can leverage your sourcing expertise and build strong relationships within the talent market. We are looking for someone passionate about connecting talent with opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with clients to fully understand their hiring requirements and organizational culture. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and other channels. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' skills, experience, and suitability for roles. Manage the candidate pipeline and ensure timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients. Facilitate the offer process, including negotiation and background checks. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Contribute to employer branding initiatives and the development of recruitment best practices.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a consultancy environment. Proven ability to source and attract candidates for a variety of roles and industries. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment market trends. Excellent interviewing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using ATS and other recruitment tools. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is preferred. A proactive and results-driven approach.
