Job summary

Pick n Pay in Lenasia, Gauteng, seeks a GMD Supervisor to oversee daily General Merchandise operations. You will supervise staff, manage stock, ensure attractive displays and accurate pricing, and drive sales while upholding safety standards.

You will lead the team, train on merchandising and customer service, and report on performance and stock. Shift work, weekends and public holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Experience in stock control, merchandising and inventory management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Basic computer literacy and experience with retail systems.
• Good numerical and administrative skills.
