Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater in Brits, North West seeks a Training Coordinator to manage and coordinate internal and external mining training programs, addressing skills gaps and proving competency.

The role requires supervisory experience, relevant electrical/trade qualifications, and ability to lead training teams, liaise with service providers, and ensure QMS standards are met.

Qualifications

• National N2 or higher with electrical background.
• Trade certificate obtained through formal learnership in relevant trades.
• Experience in supervisory/administrative leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage technical training programs.
• Source and negotiate with training providers.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders across the organisation.
• Ensure QCTO/NAMB/SETA accreditation and ISO9001:2015 compliance.
• Prepare training reports on a routine basis.
• Lead and coach reporting staff toward high performance.

Job description

• National N2 Certificate or higher with suitable Electrical background,
• Valid recognised Trade Certificate obtained through a formal learnership apprentice ship within Fitting/Boilermaker/Rigger/Electrical/ Diesel mechanic / or Instrumentation mechanician,

Minimum Qualifications

• Medium Voltage Certificate.
• National N2 Certificate or higher with suitable Electrical background,
• Valid recognised Trade Certificate obtained through a formal learnership apprentice ship within Fitting/Boilermaker/Rigger/Electrical/ Diesel mechanic / or Instrumentation mechanician,

Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in a Supervisory Administrative / Leadership environment
• Have Training / Behavioural / Psychology background
• Level 4 Facilitator / Training Coordinator or related qualification
• Have the ability to Plan, Organize and have leadership abilities / experience
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
• Clear security screening record.
• Clear credit record.
• Valid driver license if applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Training Management.
• Implement and facilitate Technical Training, materials, practices, methodology and procedures to the improve competency levels within the organisation.
• Sourcing, contracting, and negotiating with service providers.
• Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
• Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organization and externally at all levels and cross functionally.
• Implement QCTO/NAMB/SETA and QMS (ISO9001:2015) accreditation to ensure compliance.
• Compile Training Reports as per requirements
• Collaborating with external service providers regarding the design and implementation of tools to enhance processes.
• Implement, Manage, Coordinate and Facilitate Electrical Training, according to designed materials, practices, methodology and company procedures to improve competency levels within the organisation.
• Liaising with the necessary entities on any environmental management related requirements and alignment where applicable
• mplement QCTO/NAMB, SETA and QMS (ISO9001:2015) accreditation to ensure compliance
• Compile Technical Training Learners Progress Reports (daily, weekly and monthly) Stakeholder Relations
• Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and crossfunctionally
• Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
• Sourcing, contracting and negotiating with service providers.
• Liaising with the necessary entities on any environmental management related requirements and alignment where applicable.
• Collaborating with external service providers regarding the design and implementation of tools to enhance processes. Financial Management Cost Savings:
• Leading and driving cost saving and cash conservation initiatives
• Remaining competitive on the global cost curve for all operations
• Assist with cost saving initiatives to reduce operational costs
• Comply with requirements of the Quality Management System
• Quality Management System (QMS):
• Provide coaching and on-the-job training to reporting staff
• Manage performance and development of reporting staff.
