Barberton-Mines seeks a seasoned Training and Development Manager with NDip HRD Management or equivalent, plus Mine Overseer certificate and relevant training qualifications. You will lead skills development programs, manage WSP/ATR reporting, ensure MHSA compliance, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to uplift s54/s55.
The role requires at least 7 years of mining training experience, including 3 years in a managerial capacity, and deep knowledge of MPRDA, Skills Development
Do you have NDip: HRD Management or any other relevant qualification?
Do you have Mechanised & Conventional mining and or relevant Technical Trade qualification?
Do you have relevant Training qualifications (facilitation, assessor, moderator, ETDP certificates and or diploma)?
Do you have Mine Overseer Certificate of competence?
Do you have minimum 7 years of training experience in a mining environment, including at least 3 years in a managerial role?
Do you have knowledge of applicable legislation (e.g. Mines Health and Safety Act, Minerals & Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA), Skills Development Act, Employment Equity Act and QCTO processes)?
Do you have relevant mining technical training management experience?
Do you have an understanding of skills gap matrix and analysis?
Do you have Management of Social and Labour Plans?
Do you have attainment and preservation of the relevant SETA accreditation?
Do you have systems to manage and ensure delivery of compliance or mandatory training?
Have you managed and deliver skills development programmes, including but not limited to Engineering Learnerships, Apprentices, Bursary Schemes, Internship, Experiential Training, etc?
Have you ever submitted annual WSP/ATR reporting?
Do you have the ability to manage transition of systems to QCTO?
Do you have the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders ?
Do you have knowledge on how to claim grants refunds?
Do you have knowledge on how to support in preparation process to uplift s54 and s55 of the MHSA?
Do you have a valid Certificate of physical fitness?
