J2E Placements is seeking a Residence Manager for Student Accommodation in Stellenbosch. The role leads residence life operations and oversees coordinators and support staff to create a safe, inclusive, learner-centred environment.

The ideal candidate has Grade 12, 2–3 years in residence life, strong project management, and experience with student housing software. Must live in Stellenbosch and be able to start immediately.

Qualificações

• Grade 12 or equivalent education.
• 2–3 years related experience in residence life or student housing.
• Knowledge of student development theory, residential education and crisis response.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Proficient in student housing software systems and general office technology.
• Experience developing residential programs and student engagement strategies.
• Knowledge of regulations in higher education housing.
• Valid driver's license and own transport.

Responsabilidades

• Leadership and supervision of residence staff.
• Strategic oversight and program development for residences.
• Crisis management and emergency response within housing context.
• Policy enforcement and student conduct oversight.
• Operations and facilities management for residences.
• Occupancy management and administrative tasks.
• Stakeholder engagement and communication with campus partners.
• Assessment, reporting and data-driven improvements.
• Event coordination and student services support.
• Other duties as assigned.
