Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants is seeking a Residence Operations Manager in Stellenbosch to lead Residence Coordinators and support staff, oversee student residence programmes, and manage crises across campus housing operations.

You will drive improvements, coordinate with safety and wellbeing services, and ensure fair conduct processes while maintaining accurate records and reports. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Residence Coordinators and administrative staff.
• Oversee residence programmes focused on student success, wellness, inclusion and engagement.
• Manage crisis response procedures and coordinate with safety, counselling and health services.
• Oversee student conduct processes and ensure policies are applied fairly and consistently.
• Manage residence facilities, maintenance, safety inspections and service providers.
• Monitor occupancy, room changes, vacancies and student placement records.
• Liaise with campus teams, students, families and external service providers.
• Manage residence events, including orientations, student events and crisis drills.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare monthly and quarterly operational reports.
• Drive continuous improvement across residence operations and undertake special projects as required.
