Job summary

Absa seeks a Strategy and Enablement Manager to support the strategic, operational, and governance agenda of Transactional Banking South Africa. You will partner with senior leadership to drive initiatives, coordinate performance reporting, and enhance operational effectiveness across the franchise.

The role focuses on enabling executive decision-making, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and delivering data-driven insights to improve business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, Strategy or related discipline will be advantageous.
• CA(SA) qualification preferred.
• 5–8 years' experience in business management, finance, strategy, consulting, corporate banking, or related environment.
• Experience supporting senior executives and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the Transactional Banking SA strategy and strategic priorities.
• Coordinate and monitor key strategic initiatives and delivery plans.
• Identify business risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Partner with leadership to drive execution across the franchise.
• Manage business performance reporting, dashboards, and management information.
• Prepare executive presentations, strategic updates, and governance reporting.
• Drive alignment across the broader Transactional Banking leadership team.
