Job summary

Absa Group is seeking a Strategy and Enablement Manager for Transactional Banking SA in a hybrid role based in Sandton. You will partner with senior leaders to drive strategic initiatives, coordinate performance reporting, and enable governance across the franchise.

The role requires 5–8 years in business management, finance, or strategy, with strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills. CA(SA) or postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Strategy Execution & Business Management: Support execution of Transactional Banking SA strategy and priorities; monitor delivery plans; identify risks and opportunities; partner with leadership to drive execution.
• Performance Reporting & Business Insights: Manage reporting, dashboards and MI; analyse trends; deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Governance & Executive Enablement: Coordinate governance forums and leadership meetings; prepare exec presentations and management reports.
• Sales Enablement & Operational Effectiveness: Drive initiatives to improve productivity; enhance reporting and processes; support planning and forecasting.
• Stakeholder Management: Build relationships across Sales, Product, Finance, Human Capital and other functions; drive alignment.
