Absa Bank Limited is seeking an experienced executive to lead the Transactional Banking sales strategy for a designated sector. You will drive revenue growth, deepen executive client relationships, and guide a high‑performing, matrixed team across Cash Management, Payments, Liquidity, Trade and Investor Services.

The role requires 8–12 years in Transactional/Corporate Banking, a strong track record in sales leadership, and a degree in Commerce/Finance/Management with postgraduate qualifications

Qualifications

• 8–12 years' experience within Transactional Banking, Corporate Banking, Corporate Sales or related financial services environments.
• Proven track record leading sector-based sales teams and delivering commercial outcomes.
• Degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Banking or related discipline; postgraduate qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the sector's Transactional Banking sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
• Build and maintain executive-level client relationships; drive pipeline and portfolio performance.
• Lead delivery of Cash Management, Payments, Liquidity, Trade and Working Capital solutions.
• Develop the sector sales team; foster accountability, collaboration and commercial excellence.
• Represent the Bank in industry forums and client engagements; manage governance and risk.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strong controls.
