Job summary

Absa Bank Limited is seeking a commercially minded, analytically strong Sales Strategy and Business Enablement Manager to support the growth and effectiveness of the CIB Transactional Banking Sales franchise. You will work with senior leadership to drive priorities, monitor performance, and enable consistent execution across the sales function.

The role emphasizes governance, reporting and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities and manage risks.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification and relevant accounting/finance background.
• 5–8 years’ experience in business management, finance, strategy, corporate banking, consulting or related environment.
• Experience supporting senior executives and governance reporting to Exco/board.
• Strong financial management, performance analysis, planning and cross‑functional coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive-ready materials.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of Transactional Banking Sales strategy and translate priorities into measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate initiatives, monitor delivery and flag risks/opportunities.
• Develop and manage performance dashboards and MIS for actionable insights.
• Support governance forums and executive reporting including Exco and board submissions.
• Drive sales enablement initiatives to boost productivity and consistency across sales.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Coverage, Finance and Human Capital for aligned execution.
• Maintain governance, risk and control practices across activities.
