Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years in sports facility management or operations
• Proven experience in budget management, staff supervision, and contract negotiation
• Strong knowledge of sports facility maintenance, safety protocols, and event planning
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the sports facility, ensuring areas are maintained to high standards
• Develop and manage the facility's operational budget, including utilities, maintenance, and staffing
• Manage a team of facility staff, including maintenance personnel, security, and administrative support
• Plan and coordinate the scheduling of events, leagues, and facility rentals in Klerksdorp
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs for all facility equipment and infrastructure
