Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Sports Facility Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of premier sports facilities in Polokwane. This hands-on role focuses on safe, clean, and optimal environments for athletes, staff, and visitors, including maintenance, event support, and vendor coordination.

You will lead facility teams, manage budgets, implement policies, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while delivering world-class service for community events

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility operations management, preferably in sports or large venue.
• Proven track record in budget management, staff supervision, and vendor relations.
• Strong understanding of facility maintenance, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of sports facilities, including maintenance, housekeeping, security, and groundskeeping.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure safety and service.
• Manage budgets for facility operations, including cost control and resource allocation.
• Supervise and train operational staff, ensuring performance standards and positive work environment.
• Coordinate with event management teams to provide seamless operational support for various sports and community events.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations related to facility management.
