Job summary

IZI South Africa is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive growth in Pietermaritzburg (KZN). You will develop new business opportunities, manage key client relationships, and promote the full range of cash management products and services.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, strong negotiation and presentation skills, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets. A Grade 12 is essential, with a tertiary qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric essential; a tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management is advantageous
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a B2B sales environment, preferably within the security or financial services sector.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Sales Quotations & Tendering: compile quotations and tender documentation per business strategy and policies; prepare and submit proposals and marketing packs.
• New Business Development: develop new and existing product lines, identify opportunities, arrange meetings with prospects, and conduct site surveys to tailor security solutions; pursue high-margin business.
• Sales & Administrative Activities: submit weekly sales call sheet reports and maintain the Sales system with quotations, leads, and prospects.
• Customer Retention & Account Management: manage relationships with top customers, schedule visits, run satisfaction surveys, and hit retention KPIs.
• Health and Safety: assist in safety plan development, attend safety forums, report incidents, and follow policies.
