Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Production Planner to join its client’s team. You will develop and optimize production schedules to meet demand while coordinating with manufacturing sites and sales teams.

Working entirely remotely, you will forecast needs, manage material requirements, monitor progress, and adjust plans to keep production targets on track. The role requires strong planning, communication, and the ability to manage complex schedules independently across

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or similar planning role.
• Strong understanding of production planning principles and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in production planning software (ERP/MRP systems) and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules considering capacity, materials, and lead times.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and operations teams to align production plans with demand.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address deviations or constraints.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components by coordinating with the procurement team.
• Generate production reports and analyze KPIs to drive improvements.
• Communicate production plans and updates clearly to all relevant stakeholders.
