Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Production Planner to optimize manufacturing schedules and resource allocation from a remote location. You will collaborate with production managers, procurement, and sales to create realistic production plans that meet customer demands while managing materials and capacity.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and proven scheduling experience, with strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and planning tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar scheduling role within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production planning principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and production planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or specialized planning tools).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, order priorities, and available resources.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or unforeseen issues.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Collaborate with the production floor team to manage capacity and identify potential constraints.
• Maintain accurate records of production plans, outputs, and inventory levels.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in scheduling and resource utilization.
