Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly organized Production Planner to join its client in a remote capacity. You will create and manage production schedules, coordinate with procurement, production and logistics, and optimize resource allocation to meet demand and deadlines.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Operations, 4+ years in production planning, and strong ERP/MRP proficiency with excellent remote communication to align across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to forecast demand accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer orders and internal targets.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays or changes in demand.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and optimize inventory levels.
• Collaborate with sales and management to align production plans with business objectives.
• Ensure efficient use of manufacturing capacity and minimize downtime.
