Placements24 seeks a highly organized Remote Production Planner to develop production plans and optimize resource allocation across manufacturing sites. The role focuses on meeting demand while minimizing costs in a remote-first environment.

You will monitor inventories, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and generate regular production performance reports to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar planning or scheduling role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency with production planning software (ERP, MRP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for remote-first role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
• Optimize the utilization of production resources, including machinery and personnel.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely replenishment and minimal stockouts.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and operations teams to align production plans with business objectives.
• Analyze production data to identify variances and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, schedules, and inventory status for management.

Education
