Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Production Planner to join a fully remote team. The role focuses on optimizing production schedules, managing inventories, and delivering manufactured goods on time from a home office.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production planning within manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Remote collaboration and strategic oversight are key to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or similar role in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and capacity.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to reduce delays.
• Analyze production data to forecast needs and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Manage and optimize inventory for raw materials, WIP and finished goods to meet service levels.
