Our client is a reputable investment management firm seeking a Senior Real Estate Asset Manager to maximize the value and financial performance of its real estate holdings in Mahikeng, North West. You will develop asset strategies, oversee leasing and operations, and report portfolio health to senior leadership.

The role requires a deep understanding of the North West market, strong financial acumen, and a track record of driving value through proactive asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate asset management, property management, investment analysis, or related field.
• Demonstrated success in managing a diverse portfolio of real estate assets and achieving financial objectives.
• Strong understanding of real estate investment principles, market analysis, and valuation techniques.
• Excellent financial modeling, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Yardi, MRI, and MS Excel.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the North West property market, with experience in or around Mahikeng.
• Ability to think strategically and implement proactive solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategic asset management plans to maximize property value and returns.
• Oversee the financial performance of assigned properties, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor market conditions, tenant occupancy, and lease expirations to identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage relationships with third-party property managers, leasing agents, and brokers.
• Approve and oversee capital improvement projects to enhance property value and tenant satisfaction.
• Conduct regular property site visits and performance reviews.
• Analyze and evaluate potential property dispositions or acquisitions within the portfolio.
• Prepare comprehensive asset management reports for senior management and investors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies to reduce costs and improve property performance.
