Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic Real Estate Development Manager to oversee projects in and around Welkom. You will manage the full lifecycle from concept through handover, including site acquisition, planning, permits, budgets, and coordination with architects and contractors.

You will drive development initiatives with a focus on regulatory compliance and sustainable growth for the Free State region, shaping landmark projects with autonomy and accountability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate development project management.
• Proven track record of delivering complex development projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of the Free State property development landscape and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential real estate development opportunities, including site selection and due diligence.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the design and planning process, collaborating with architects, engineers, and urban planners.
• Manage all aspects of construction, including contractor selection, site supervision, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with all local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
