Placements24 is seeking an experienced Property Development Manager to oversee development projects in the Nelspruit region, guiding land acquisitions, feasibility, approvals and construction to ensure on-time delivery and value creation.

The role calls for strategic leadership, strong financial intuition and the ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and authorities to drive sustainable growth in Mpumalanga.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in property development, project management, or related field.
• Proven track record of delivering real estate development projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of planning regulations, construction processes and financial management in development.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Nelspruit and Mpumalanga property market is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess land acquisition and development opportunities in Nelspruit and surrounding regions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market research and financial analyses for proposed projects.
• Manage development lifecycle from concept to completion, including securing permits and approvals.
• Oversee timelines, budgets and quality control with construction teams and contractors.
• Develop and implement sales/marketing strategies with agents for completed projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, investors and stakeholders.
