Job summary

PPS Recruitment is seeking a Business Process Engineer in Johannesburg to improve operations across units using Lean, Six Sigma, and ITIL methodologies. You will drive execution of improvements to achieve long-term performance goals and align people, processes, and technology with strategic initiatives.

Role requires 3–7 years in process improvement, strong modeling skills, and experience in complex matrix environments. Banking background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field as a minimum requirement.
• 3–7 years in business process improvement or automation.
• Expert process modelling methods and standards.
• Advanced process engineering methods (Six Sigma/Lean Sigma/ITIL/CMM).
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle methodologies.
• Banking/Financial Services background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead definition, scoping, and chartering for process analysis/design projects.
• Analyze processes, data points, and controls to identify sub-optimal performance.
• Recommend improvements and root-cause solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Improve organizational capabilities through high-impact process initiatives.
• Support business case development and change impact analyses.
• Contribute to organization-wide process-centric methodologies.
• Drive process standards, measurement, and governance.
• Facilitate organizational change.
