Job summary

Ocado Group is seeking a senior HR/People leader to partner with the COO and Operations Leadership Team. You will shape and deliver people strategies that align with business objectives, champion culture, and drive engagement, talent, and organisational design across a global operations footprint.

You will collaborate with People COEs, the Shared Service Centre, and senior leadership to translate business strategy into actionable, resourced plans and lead major transformation programmes,

Qualifications

• Senior HR/People leadership experience, ideally at Director level.
• Proven track record in managing senior stakeholders at COO/Executive level.
• Ability to translate business strategy into a coherent people plan.
• Experience leading a strategic people agenda with matrixed orgs.
• Experience with Centres of Excellence and Shared Service Centre models.
• Strong employee relations and change management capabilities.
• Operational, logistics, manufacturing or fast-paced environment desirable.
• Excellent influencing, communication and relationship-building at senior level.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the strategic relationship with the COO and Operations LT.
• Lead creation and delivery of people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Translate strategy into prioritized people plans and resource initiatives.
• Partner with COEs and Shared Service Centre to deliver integrated solutions.
• Coach and challenge senior leaders on design, performance, and leadership capability.
• Use workforce data to inform evidence-based recommendations and risk mitigation.
• Lead major change programmes within Operations with strong ER and legal compliance.
• Represent Operations needs within the People function and policy teams.
• Travel to Ocado sites as required to support leadership and delivery.
