Job summary

AfroCentric Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with senior leaders within the Business Unit. The role focuses on developing and executing people and skills development strategies aligned to current and future business objectives, while ensuring standardized HR policies and procedures are implemented.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience as HR Business Partner or HR management role.
• Knowledge of labour legislation, HR policies, performance management, recruitment, talent management, change management, training and employment equity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the People Plan to support BU strategy.
• Contribute to workforce planning and organisational structure development.
• Manage recruitment and selection within the Business Unit.
• Drive Talent and Career Management within the Business Unit.
• Drive and manage the HR calendar for high performance and compliance.
• Provide advisory support on HR, LRA and workplace issues; promote a high-performance culture.
• Contribute to BU transformation; support performance reviews and wellbeing interventions.
• Provide generalist support for change initiatives and OD.
• Assist managers with performance management processes.
