Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Specialist Recruiter to focus on Manufacturing and Operations in Mahikeng and the North West region. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from client understanding to sourcing, interviewing and placing candidates in roles such as production managers, engineers and quality controllers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in recruitment, strong manufacturing knowledge, and excellent relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruitment experience, esp. Manufacturing & Operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational environments.
• Excellent interviewing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients and candidates.
• Proficiency with recruitment software and ATS.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, results-driven approach.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen and interview candidates for manufacturing/operations roles in Mahikeng and North West region.
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates, including passive candidates.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships in manufacturing and logistics sectors.
• Conduct needs assessments with clients to understand requirements and gaps.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment from engagement to offer and placement.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in the region.
• Utilize ATS and networks to manage candidate pipelines efficiently.
• Ensure high-quality candidate experience with clear communication and guidance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes.
