Placements24 is seeking a Manufacturing and Operations Recruiter to connect industrial clients with top talent in production, operations management, quality control, maintenance and engineering roles. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, and a proactive market insight mindset.

You will lead end-to-end recruitment, build a strong talent pipeline, and partner with clients to understand production needs and quality standards, ensuring a positive candidate

Qualifications

Our client, a prominent recruitment consultancy based in Mahikeng, North West , is actively seeking a skilled Manufacturing and Operations Recruiter. This role is essential for connecting industrial clients with talent in production, operations management, quality control, maintenance, and engineering roles within the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for manufacturing and operations roles, including production staff, supervisors, plant managers, quality assurance professionals, and maintenance technicians.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using industry-specific job boards, manufacturing associations, and direct outreach.
• Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, operational experience, and safety consciousness.
• Partner closely with manufacturing clients to understand their operational needs, production cycles, and quality standards.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline of skilled professionals in manufacturing and operations.
• Provide market intelligence on talent availability, salary benchmarks, and industry trends within the manufacturing sector.
• Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintain accurate candidate data and recruitment activity within the ATS.
• Stay updated on manufacturing technologies, lean principles, and operational excellence practices.
• Contribute to the growth and success of the manufacturing and operations recruitment division.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment, with a specialization in manufacturing or operations.
• Demonstrable success in sourcing and placing candidates for production, engineering, quality, and maintenance roles within manufacturing environments.
• A good understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, and relevant equipment.
• Excellent sourcing skills and proficiency with relevant recruitment tools.
• Strong interviewing, assessment, and negotiation abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple demanding requisitions concurrently.
