Job summary

Joint Medical Holdings seeks an experienced Learning & Development professional to design, implement, and oversee groupwide learning initiatives. The role ensures compliance with training requirements and drives a culture of continuous development.

You will lead needs analyses, design programs across technical, leadership, and soft skills, manage calendars and records, and evaluate impact with regular reports for improvement.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent.
• 5–10 years’ experience in Training & Development.
• Experience designing, coordinating, delivering & evaluating training.
• Experience conducting needs analyses & developing learning interventions.
• Experience facilitating training in a corporate environment.
• Experience with SETAs, WSPs & ATRs.
• Experience using LMS and HR systems, preferably Sage 300 People.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organisation's L&D strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct training needs analyses and identify skills gaps.
• Design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate training programmes (tech, leadership, compliance, soft skills).
• Manage learning initiatives, calendars, learner records and reporting.
• Support performance management, development plans, coaching and talent initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with WSPs, ATRs and mandatory training.
• Manage training budgets, suppliers and relationships with providers.
• Collaborate with HR, managers and leaders to deliver solutions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and provide reports and recommendations.
