Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Kempton Park seeks an experienced Manager to oversee inventory control within Contract Logistics. The role focuses on delivering daily/weekly/monthly inventory deliverables, ensuring inbound/outbound flows meet service levels, and driving continuous improvement across processes.

You will manage cycle counts, stock accuracy, and KPI reporting while aligning with client SLAs and HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory/warehouse management or related field is required.
• Advanced literacy in MS Word/Outlook and strong ERP/WMS knowledge.
• Excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills for data management and reporting.
• Own vehicle and driver’s license are advantageous.
• Willingness to work extended hours and support other Gauteng sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily/weekly/monthly inventory deliverables to exceed client SLA targets.
• Manage inbound, outbound, cycle-counting and return processes.
• Lead root-cause analysis and CAPA reporting for stock discrepancies.
• Plan and monitor cycle counts and wall-to-wall stock takes.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and develop Team Leaders and inventory staff; monitor performance.
