Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Germiston is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage expediting, planning, scheduling and balancing outbound activities in a Contract Logistics environment. You will ensure orders are planned and executed to meet customer KPI’s and contractual SLAs.

Qualifications

• Matric with a tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain is advantageous.
• Experience in planning, warehouse and transport industry.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of WMS/TMS software.

Responsibilities

• Understand the customer’s business and requirements.
• Develop relationships with clients and manage expectations.
• Monitor load plans and execution to meet customer KPIs.
• Analyze load plan performance and implement improvements.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs and HSE compliance.
• Coordinate bookings and reverse logistics as required.
