Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Cape Town is seeking a Logistics Coordinator/Planner for Contract Logistics to manage outbound activities and ensure internal and external requirements are met. You will monitor planning tools, coordinate with warehouse operations and transport carriers, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

2–5 years of relevant experience in retail warehousing and supply chain.
Experience in expediting, planning, scheduling and balancing workload.
Ability to lead and manage a team.
Able to meet customer expectations and comply with policies and instructions.

Responsibilities

Monitor planning tools and execution to identify risks and actions.
Review planning tool performance to improve SLA’s and operations.
Monitor warehouse and transport SLA's.
Measure on-time delivery and turnaround time.
Update bookings and re-bookings in relevant systems.
Coordinate between warehouse operations and transport carriers.
Query management and escalation.
Reverse logistics monitoring and planning.
