Job summary

Bidvest Facilities Management in Johannesburg, Gauteng, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee all Contract Logistics operations for the client. You will manage inventory, forecast demand, coordinate movement of goods between client and region, and monitor stock accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics or supply chain, a relevant qualification, and proficiency with SAP and logistics software.

Qualifications

Matric (Senior Certificate) or equivalent.
National Diploma/Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field.
Certification in supply chain management or logistics (preferred).
Valid SA Driver's License.
5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain management.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
Proficiency with SAP and logistics software.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement logistics strategies to support company goals and objectives.
Manage and optimize transportation and distribution network timelines.
Monitor shipments and orders to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain accurate inventory levels in line with warehouse operations.
Maintain accurate Field Technician Vehicle inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and industry standards.
Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction.
